If this sounds like you then might want to look at the Samsung C300. The Samsung C300 has been designed with the optimum call features in mind so you can make the most of your everyday messaging and calling with the handset!
Looking at the appearance of the handset first, the Samsung C300 just oozes style. You can choose from a black case or a silver case, both of which are sleek, have clean lines and would suit everyone, whether fashion was a big issue or not. The silver case especially is visually appealing with a two tone matt and gloss finish that catches the eye immediately. If the colouring is not the first thing you notice then the screen will be. It is a large 1.77 inch 65k colour screen that completely dominates the handset. The quality is fantastic and the slider is the better for it.
There are plenty of call and messaging features in the Samsung C300 to keep you occupied. In fact, the handset has more calling and messaging features than any of the other top handsets do at the moment. Take the messaging options as an example. There are the regular SMS, MMS and predictive text features but you also have EMS, or Enhanced Messaging functionality. This will enhance your messaging experience no end. The connectivity of the Samsung C300 is also good with GPRS and an excellent Internet browser.
There are two other fantastic features to note. The first is the range of embedded games and the second a security feature that should probably be standard on all new phones but has yet to be implemented by most phone companies. The games are great and inject a little fun into the Samsung C300. You can also download other games using the browser. The second is the SOS feature. Basically, you set up an emergency number, which can be a landline or another mobile, and if you press one button if you are in trouble then your emergency numbers will be notified. Similarly, if the SIM is changed in the phone then it will automatically alert a chosen number via uTrack, complete with the location! As such, the Samsung C300 can help protect you and the phone itself.
There are a few not so great touches though but these relate more to the features that are missing than those included in the Samsung C300. It has to be said that the absence of a camera and music player is not desirable and may put people off. After all, one of both can be found in most handsets today. The memory is also pretty poor at just 2MB. You will not be able to download too many games with that. However, if you just want a basic call and text phone with high end technology then this is the handset for you!
